Small company looking for SKILLED help. Skilled being the important word. We have plenty of work. Please respond to the post as outlined so we can understand your skills. Please read the entire post. We need a person(s) who have carpentry experience, commercial roof experience is helpful. You will be working out of our shop. There is no travel. Work rain or shine. work 6 to 7 days a week. We are covered up. We stay covered up. You would be amazed at the people who come in claiming to have skills and can't read a tape measure...can't get to work....don't have a phone..etc. So below we outlined what we need you to have so we can all get work done and make some money. The person(s) we hire should be able to use power tools such as table saw and mitre box. Safety is priority #1. Work safe and be safe. You will need: 1. A valid license. This is a must. if you do not have a license we can not hire you. 2. A car of your own that you drive and get to work legally. Some have a car they share, need to drop off someone, pick someone up...these issues slow our shop down. 3. No warrants, we can't have the cops barging in looking for you. 4. No drug or alcohol issues. 5. You will need math skills and be able to read a tape measure....I know you are shaking your head...lol. 6. A working phone. If something does come about with you or us, we need to make contact. 7. Tools, such as a tool belt and a cordless drill. We do not use impact drills here. 8. Clean appearance and upbeat positive attitude. If you like to work you will like working here. If you are just looking for a paycheck then probably not. This a good moral shop. when responding please include what experience you have...the type of work you have been doing AND the rate of pay you are looking for.
