Description
This is Maggie. She is a confirmed, successful 'mouser'. When my original mouser died we were overwhelmed by rodents. Moles in the yard, rodents in the house. We live in an old farmhouse in a rural area. Then we found Maggie. No more rodents. She lives for the hunt. If you are looking at this you know not all cats are good hunters. We obtained another cat before Mags (we still have her) who is NOT a hunter. If it doesn't come out of a can she doesn't eat it. We were elated to find Mags.
She is about 3 1/2 years old. Spayed after having a litter of 5 kittens. She is very well adjusted with no psychological issues. Affectionate, sweet and nice. Gets along with our dog. She likes to be outside, but is happy to cuddle up at night occasionally.
We are asking for a re-homing fee as we have learned that 'free to good home' elicits unsavory people who like to harm animals. We love Mags very much. It is very difficult for us to let her go, but we want to do what is best for her. Unfortunately, we have to move and our new home within city limits is not suitable. She likes to roam the property and we're afraid she might be hit by a car or meet an undesirable fate at the hands of people not so kind to animals.
We are asking $100 which we will donate to PFOA. Please email me with your particulars. Thank you.
