Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Inspect forklift before use. 2. Identify the battery life of the forklift and water levels. Charge or refill if needed. 3. Receive paperwork to identify the order and door that needs to be loaded. 4. Place load locks on the trailer so the load doesn’t move while loading. 5. Inspect the trailer conditions. 6. Load the truck while following good safety precautions. 7. Document the order details on the pick ticket. 8. Check the loaded order to assure the right order and quantity is loaded. 9. Turn in order details to shipping so they can generate the bill of lading. 10. Help organize cold storage rooms and dock area. 11. Charge the forklift before leaving for the day. Expectations: ➢ Report to work ready, prepared and on time. ➢ Follow safety trainings and procedures. ➢ Always wear seatbelt and drive backwards. ➢ Use your horn before entering and exiting all non-visible areas. ➢ Offer great customer service to drivers or clients. ➢ Report any type of accident or incident. ➢ Do not use your cell phone during working hours. ➢ Always double check your order and work. **********For more information call 956-391-1207******
