Updated - found someone to help. Just wanted to post an update! Thank you for all that sent messages and calls. I can't respond to all of them back and did not want to just delete the post without updating first. Willing to pay $100 CASH, for about 1 hour to 2 hours worth of work. All you need to do: -Show up at the agreed time - help move boxes out of a unit and back in - possibly help put a few in my car. When: 8/20 (Saturday) before 4 pm Duration: 1 to 2 hours max Location: The storage facility is gated, has cameras, and is indoors in a climate-controlled environment in the Ironbound area of Williamsburg. So it is safe - both for you and me. (This is craigslist after all. LOL) About: When we moved down and into an apartment, the hired movers just stashed stuff in there haphazardly - which was fine, as we were more focused on getting the rest to the apartment. I need to do this today, as I have a smaller unit that I need to empty (has 6 boxes and small items, which I will already have moved over to the 8 x 10 unit) so I am not being charged for two. The 8 x10 unit has more than enough room for the small items but currently needs to be better organized, as the boxes are just all over and not organized in any fashion. There are a few heavy boxes that I cannot lift, once small china cabinet, a bar on wheels, an exercise bike, and a washer/dryer. The washer/ dryer WILL NOT be moved out of the unit. They will stay where they are. The other items, I am able to move or help with moving as they are not heavy. There are also several large black totes that will serve as a base for the boxes. These totes do have wheels and while having some weight the majority are able to be lifted with no issue. The main thing is moving the boxes and just helping in organizing them. Should not take more than an hour if you are motivated and not on your phone. I would do this by myself, however, I have been ill the last few months and my energy is zapped.
