Our name is Honestus Commercial Pros, we are a San Antonio based company. We focus mainly on residential gutter installation, but we also do carpeting and other home remodeling related services. WHAT THE POSITION ENTAILS: - You would be part of a crew of 1 to 3 people - On most days you will be doing residential gutter installation which involves moving and going up and down lightweight all aluminum ladders (these ladders have an attachable Ladder-Max Stand-Off Stabilizer on top which has 2 long arms with a specialized rubber tip that sticks onto the roof's surface, they prevent the ladder from sliding, these ladder also have a retractable stabilizer extension on the legs which allows for the ladder to be stable even on uneven/slanted terrain. -You would also be installing all-aluminum single-piece gutter cover which are a breeze to set up. - Taking measurements with a co-worker of the length of each fascia board where gutter would be installed and printing and installing the gutter. - Carpet Installation for residential. - You will be from time to time performing other general handyman remodeling services that DO NOT INVOLVE any of the following: Electrical, Plumbing, Welding or HVAC - Marketing activities for the company by simply displaying our publicity material in areas of high traffic. WHAT WE OFFER YOU: - We promise you, and commit ourselves, to never lie to you and to never disrespect or treat you unfairly. - We have a zero tolerance for bullying in our company, an we uphold a code of ethics. - We believe in treating our employees and contractors in the exact same way we would like to be treated ourselves. - We offer you a quick path to grow within the company (once you have proven yourself), as we are in need of an operations manager, but such person would have to be developed from the bottom up, rather that us hiring someone with previous experience on this role. - We offer you flexible Unpaid time off for taking care of important events like Dr.'s appointments, Government appointments, funerals, weddings, etc. (physical paper proof of such appointments will be required and a 1 week's notice must be provided to us in advance) - NO TOOLS REQUIRED, we will provide you all the tooling you would need. WHAT IS REQUIRED OF YOU: - No previous experienced is required - You would be hired as a contractor, so you would be getting a 1099 at the end of the year. - As a contractor, you would need to get "Liability Insurance" for "Handyman" on yourself (we recommend NEXT Insurance, they charge $54 a month) this is required in case you accidentally cause damage to any of the customer's belongings or property while at the jobsite, in which case you would have to pay your deductible so the insurance company covers any repairs or replacements (BECAUSE OF THE WAY WE OPERATE, AN INCIDENT LIKE THIS HAS NEVER HAPPENED THANK GOD) - You MUST be a very reliable person, punctual and with a teachable and well-mannered attitude. - You must be in a good physical condition, as this job requires you to be going up and down ladders, and while we don't want you to work extremely fast to where you could injure yourself and burn out, we need someone who can work with somewhat of a sense of urgency and who doesn't drag his feet or is constantly on his phone whenever no one is looking at him. - You MUST have access to a vehicle on the daily, as you will have to drive to the jobsite (if the job is outside of San Antonio you would ride with your crew members in our truck or we would pay you for the gas at 0.35 cents the mile) Please E-mail us you CV, if you do not have one that is ok, just please reach out to us and we will get in touch with you as soon as we are able.
