Large Warehouse in the Bronx is seeking Shipping Department & Pickers/Selectors for the freezer department. Must be comfortable/ experience working in a Refrigerated 32 degrees & or COLD environment (18 degrees). You will be provided Freezer suit and all equipment. JOB DETAILS: Must be Vaccinated - Pick food products and pack in totes - Scan labels on packages, load packaging machines with boats, and label packages with printed labels - Apply knowledge of processes involved, production methods, and products to everyday operation - Receive clear, detailed, and specific instructions and consults with Team leader on all matters outside the scope of daily responsibilities/activities REQUIREMENTS: - Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as required -- holidays are very important to our restaurant customers! - Must have Shipping inbound or outbound or Selecting experience in a cold / freezer area prior - Proven track record of good attendance - Comfortable and able to work an 8-12hr shift (hours per day are based on business need) - Must be able to lift and maneuver 30-40lbs. - Experience in a related field a plus Shifts are 4:00am to completion and others vary to completion.
