I am a 37 year old father and music lover looking to get a little band going. Now that my kids are a little older, I can find the time to jam 2-3 times a month, maybe play a couple gigs around town, tighten up and record a little something (last time I was in a band we used the 4 track cassette tape to record— my have times changed). If this interest you, give me a shout! I’m a crappy guitar player but could jam, a way better bassist (but I don’t have one) and can even throw down basic drums (it’s been 10 years but it’s like riding a bike?). My favorite bands are: Love the 90s Epitaph bands, Bad Religion, NoFX, Millencolin, etc. Also love the newer bands like The Menzingers and Iron Chic who are amazing songwriters. This is a style id love to rock. Ska punk like LTJ, The Bosstones, RBF, etc we’re always a fav but not sure if people even play in ska bands anymore! Die hard Phish & The Grateful Dead fan, classic rock lover, 80s tunes, reggae and a whole bunch of other shit!
