Gem State Staffing-Caldwell is now accepting candidates for Harvest Season positions located at Idaho's most famous potato company! These seasonal positions are scheduled to begin working on Sept 5th. ****20 Seasonal Positions Available**** Job Description Employees will work in the Receiving Area of the plant. Incoming potatoes are inspected prior to entering production. The inspection process is completed by a team of employees working at different stations, performing different types of tests. Some are as easy as chopping a potato in half and inspecting for quality, some are more involved. All training is paid and provided. There will be two shifts available and some consideration for Part Time scheduling if needed. Requirements Must be capable of lifting 35lbs, unassisted Must be able to work in production environment with raw food (potatoes) Must adhere to strict health and safety guidelines and personal grooming standards Must be able to stand and/or walk around production area for entire shift Must be able to differentiate color (not colorblind) Pre-employment drug screen and background check required Details The inspection area will run 24/7 thru harvest season (including weekends). We're scheduling work from Sept 5th - Oct 31st. Most employees will be scheduled for a 4-5 day work week. Day Shift 7am-7pm Night Shift 7pm-7am Our biggest need is Night Shift. Opportunities will be available for Mid-Shift type schedule provided we have enough interest to justify it. See office for more details. Pay Rates Day Shift $19.00/hr + $2.00/hr bonus for perfect attendance Night Shift $20.00/hr + $2.00/hr bonus for perfect attendance Payroll is weekly, every Friday for last weeks hours Applicant Instructions Interviews are conducted daily at 304 Cleveland Blvd in Caldwell.
