Todder is a quality leather goods manufacturer and a trusted partner to many high end brands around the US. We are a dedicated team of leather crafters looking for hard working people to join us in our newly expanded workshop in Newburyport, M.A. A few of the goods we produce are Belts, Wallets, Tote Bags, Key Chains, Bracelets, etc. Our workshop is located in Newburyport's Industrial Park (1/4 mile from commuter rail). Responsibilities and Duties • Assemble goods based on tech packs and training • Complete tasks and processes within the allotted time frame • Feel comfortable using machinery and provided tools • Maintain used tools and a clean work space • Record production times on all projects • Follow instructions thoroughly & take action on constructive feedback • Report obstacles that are affecting your work to the Production Manager • Notice quality issues among all tools and materials used throughout the production process • Be flexible and willing to make a change when necessary • Demonstrate required skills • Employees must be able to lift 25 lbs, and move quickly through their tasks • Work well with a team • Be respectful and courteous to all members in the workshop • Arrive on time & hustle! Requirements • Employees must be able to lift 25 lbs, and move quickly through their tasks. • You must be 18 years or older. Education and Training • We will train you on all tasks, processes, and machinery • No prior education is required for this position, as long as all responsibilities and duties are met. • Leather crafting experience is a PLUS but not a must. • Attention to detail • Ability to learn new processes and tasks • This is a very hands on job – use of sharp blades, heavy machinery, hot stamping machines, rivet presses, dying edges, are all examples of the tools and processes you will trained on, and be asked to accomplish This Job • Full time preferred, but open to part time • Hours of operation / Monday-Thursday 8am-5pm, and Friday 8am-3pm How to Apply To apply for this position please respond to this posting via email with your resume and the SUBJECT "Todder Open Position."
