Due to needing to move soon as well as financial issues I find it would be best to rehome my degus. I have 4 male degus (in pairs of 2) that need homes. Pair 1 requires a more experienced home. It consists of a 6 year old degu and a 2 year old degu. They have been bonded for over a year and have shown no dominance issues. The older degu is in perfectly good health he just doesn't climb and maneuver as well as the younger degu. They need a home that is able to cater to both the older degus needs and the younger degus needs. As well as a home that would be prepared to introduce the younger degu to another one should something happen to the older one. Both are very good tempered and while most degus don't enjoy being held or snuggled the older one will tolerate it. Neither have any issue taking treats. Pair 2 consists of two 1 year old brothers. Both are high energy and in my opinion would do fine in an unexperienced home. With any new pet though make sure to do tons of research on them but if you have things you're unsure about you can ask me. One tolerates being held and the other doesn't really want any interaction besides being given treats but overtime he's been coming out of his shell. I have pair 1 in a single critter nation and pair 2 in a double. I would be willing to rehome them with the cages however the double would not fit in my car so that one would be pick up only. They will also come with their accessories such as hammocks, wheels, chews, hides, etc. Rehoming fee of course for these guys. Please make sure you know what you're getting into if interested degus have a lot of special needs and require a lot of time and attention.
