Please join local Denver-based journalist Jacob Curtis as he explores the “Dark Side of Psychedelia.” This presentation will focus on how psychedelics and other related drugs were misused during the height of the Cold War by the Allies and the Soviet Union, often times on unwitting civilians. Mr. Curtis will not only show us about the CIA’s MKUltra program and the US Army Chemical Corps Edgewood experiments, but will also fill us in on specific cases of governmental, medical, and institutional malfeasance.
