have you ever wondered how you can be a better ally? are you looking for tools to improve your antiracist advocacy? do you want to learn more about local Indigenous history and culture? during this interactive in-person workshop, participants will explore advocacy as an action – that is, teaching others about the importance of equity and justice as an actionable allyship strategy. in addition, an Indigenous facilitator will discuss Indigenous history, culture, and rights, as well as how one can promote widespread education about these crucial topics. what you'll learn actions you can take to bring about justice and equity alongside Indigenous Peoples instruction and modeling about how to be an effective ally teaching and instruction from an Indigenous facilitator
