Bikes, Books & Back to School Giveaway REGISTER TODAY FOR A CHANCE TO WIN A FREE BIKE! Thanks to a generous donation from CACI, the Blue Star Families National Capital Region Chapter will be giving away 30 bikes to military children ages 5-8 at the Bikes, Books & Back-to-School Event on August 30th. Complete a registration form to enter for a chance to win a free child's bike from CACI. Applications are being accepted until midnight on August 25th. Attendees will be selected at random and contacted via email by Blue Star Families on August 26th. In order to be considered for a bike, applicants must meet the following criteria: This opportunity is open to active duty, Guard, and Reserve families E5 and below. Veteran families are also welcome to apply.Recipients of the bikes must be between the ages of 5-8 years old. (Families are welcome to register for more than one bike if they have multiple children who fall in this age range.)An adult and the child recipient must be able to attend the Bikes, Books & Back-to-School Event between 5:30-7:30 PM ET on August 30th to collect their bike. (Please plan to bring a vehicle large enough to transport the bike from this event.) A note from CACI: These 30 bicycles were assembled with passion and purpose by CACI leadership at our annual conference to be donated to children of military families.
