This painting workshop will cover all aspects of planning and executing your interior or exterior painting projects. We will discuss how to prep the area, what paint to select for the project, what supplies you do and do not need and much more! About the teacher: Kristen Alvarez discovered her love of DIY house projects after buying her first home in Price Hill in 2006. Through grit and determination Kristen took on a variety of projects to improve her home. In 2016 Kristen started Property Mothers Real Estate and jumped into house flipping. After successfully completing 3 projects Kristen and her mom bought a large 2 Family in Norwood and got to work on building a multigenerational home that included tearing everything down to the studs and redesigning the space to accommodate the family. Kristen is an entrepreneur and mother of 2. She spends her days managing her Pet Care company, being a Mama, and dabbling in a variety of hobbies including fitness and DIY projects. About Do It Yourself Darlin’s workshops: All Do It Yourself Darlin Workshops are donation-based, geared towards beginners, and open to anyone age 16+. Participants are encouraged to donate as their financial capacity allows. DIYD is a program of the non-profit CDC Price Hill Will and all of DIYD’s funding comes from donations and grants.
