In this workshop participants will learn how to prepare a subfloor to receive a new layer of laminate flooring and how to skillfully and properly install a floating, tongue and groove (click and lock) laminate floor.
About the teacher:
Marie Hopkins (she/her) is the founder of Queen City Commons, a local commercial and residential composting service serving the Greater Cincinnati area. Marie is also a skilled craftswoman who has worked as a carpenter, construction supervisor, project coordinator, and installer for the past 6 years at Habitat for Humanity of Greater Cincinnati and a local Design/Build company called Margin.
About Do It Yourself Darlin’s workshops:
All Do It Yourself Darlin Workshops are donation-based, geared towards beginners, and open to anyone age 16+. Participants are encouraged to donate as their financial capacity allows. DIYD is a program of the non-profit CDC Price Hill Will and all of DIYD’s funding comes from donations and grants.
