Searching for the right new friend

Hi! I am looking for a companion dog. I am in remission and don't work so I have all day to bond with the right dog. I am open to all possibilities that would be a good fit. I lost my apartment due to corona a few months back and have been placed in an 18 month transitional living program. Dogs are allowed plus my Dr is going to write me a letter so when I move on from this program the dog will be able to come with me. I am very depressed being alone all day. I haven't had a dog since 2007 when I lost custody of my son to his father and I sent our dog with my son. The dog has since passed on. My son is 18 now and I have an empty nest. I am open to a puppy or a dog that would be cool in an apartment enviroment and ok to do his business on a leash. I want to take him or her with me as we bond to do errands etc Please email me Willing to pay reasonable fee
