Minimum Required Qualifications for the Legal Assistant Include:
*High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
*Associates Degree preferred, but not required.
*Minimum 2 years' experience performing similar functions.
*Knowledge of medical billing codes is helpful.
*Above average written and verbal communication skills.
*Above average data entry typing skills with high level accuracy required.
*Transcription from dictaphone required.
*Powerful communication skills including listening, comprehension and presentation a must.
*Able to quickly establish rapport with many types of people.
*Knowledge of MS Office and Outlook is required.
