The Special Olympics Chicago Associate Board will be hosting our annual Spike for SOC/SCC volleyball tournament from 12-5pm on Sunday, August 28th! There will be around 16 teams of 6-8 people, and we will also be running a raffle with donations from local businesses. Prizes will be awarded to the 1st and 2nd place teams! Starting at 3pm there will also be an after party just steps away at Castaways! There are SO many ways to join the fun: - Make a Team: Register your group of 6-8 for $200 with at least three women from each team on the court at all times. - Play as a Free Agent: Email [email protected] if you'd like to play and we'll find a team for you to join! Our associate board members are making teams and we love new friends :) - Come to the After Party at Castaway's for a Sunday Funday: Your $30 wristband includes TWO hours of beer, wine and liquor from 3-5 PM. - Buy Raffle Tickets: Enter into our raffle to win fun prizes! Purchase one ticket for $5 or five for $20. Prizes include tickets to a Chicago Fire game and Zanies Comedy Club, a tour for 8 at Goose Island! gift cards to Ranalli's, Mon Ami Gabi & RJ Grunts, classes and passes to Bicycle Spin Art, First Ascent Climbing & FFC, autographed White Sox & Blackhawks gear, a photoshoot from a professional photographer, Chacos swag and MORE! We hope you can join us for a fun day celebrating the mission of Special Olympics/Special Children's Charities! If there is a cancellation due to weather on 8/28, the event will be moved to 9/11. Refunds will not be provided. All proceeds will go to Special Olympics Chicago/Special Children's Charities.
