Self-Defense ~ Self-Reliance ~ Self-Confidence ~ Well-BeingFYI: Six classes beginning with the first class on Saturday, August 27, 2022 The mission of the Women Against Human-Trafficking in Philadelphia (#WAHTPhilly) is to offer women a safe space to learn how to protect themselves from becoming a victim of inner city crime. We provide in-person and on-line trainings that focus on effective self-defense strategies, empowerment seminars, and wellness solutions. Women Against Human Trafficking, Inc. has partnered with Penn Medicine Princeton Health, to provide a self-defense course for women. This program was purposefully created to provide participants with the self-defense skills necessary to protect themselves in case of potential danger. This is a multi-session, activity-based program that includes lectures, safety drills, muscle memory work, and physical defense techniques. This course is designed for every woman regardless of physical fitness and age. Dress in comfortable clothing. *No prior experience necessary. This training is one of the best trainings in the area which includes a variety of techniques that ALL females should learn. Share this event with your tribe so that we can reach and teach as many women as possible in the Philadelphia metro area in this class which will be ongoing. Training Dates: FYI: Six classes beginning with the first class on Saturday, August 27, 2022 This six-week session which will take place on Saturdays. The first class begins August 27, and then September 10, 17 & 24, and October 1 & 15 from 1 - 3 PM. The location of the training will be at The Center City Breathe Wellness and Yoga Center located at 1425 Federal Street, Philadelphia PA 19146; a half block from Broad Street. The Building with the orange door and the logo CCB on it. The fee is $40 which includes all 6 sessions.
