You will start this class by turning a basic bowl shape from a piece of wood on the wood lathe, using carbide turning tools. Once you have your shape, you will add the decorative channel for the yarn with a drill and handsaw. When complete you will finish the bowl with an oil safe for use with yarn. Once class is over you will have a yarn bowl ready to take home, drop yarn in and work on your next crochet/knit project – keep it for yourself or give as a gift. No experience necessary – beginners
