Small fruits are the mainstay of harvest from early summer thru fall. While the strawberry is the first on the list, there are so many others that will be considered in this presentation including the brambles, blueberries, elderberries, gooseberries, currants, and aronia. While many are eaten fresh, they can be turned into value added products including jams, jellies and syrups. The topics in this class include site and cultivar selection, planting and care of the plants as they grow to harvest.
