Friendly, Active, Playful Dog for Rehoming

Looking to rehome a rescue dog that I took in approx 7 weeks ago after he was abandoned. He was emaciated, and dehydrated, and was pretty close to death, as he was urinating brown after his rescue, due to the dehydration. I took him to a vet to be checked out and vaccinated, and then started him on monthly heartworm prevention as well and flea and tick prevention. He has gained 20 pounds since his rescue and is now a robust and muscular dog, with a lot of energy. He is best suited for a high energy household, with a yard that he can run and play in. If you are a runner, even better. He loves people, including kids, but he is over 50 pounds now and doesn't quite know his own size and strength, so he could knock down the littles without meaning to harm them. Families with pre teen kids and up would be best. Please include details on whether you rent or own, whether you have a yard or how you would otherwise exercise the dog, and how often the dog would be home alone each day.
