Your Shower Door is the premier provider of Frameless Glass Shower Enclosures. We design, measure, and install our own enclosures. This locally-owned business has been providing West Michigan with luxury glass enclosures since 2012. We are continuing to grow and seek dedicated individuals to join our professional, positive, and upbeat team! We are currently seeking multiple Entry Level Installation Technicians to join our team at Your Shower Door in Grand Rapids, Michigan! If you have previous experience working in any of the following fields, Carpentry, Construction, Plumbing, or HVAC, this may be a great opportunity for you to begin your new career! NO GLASS EXPERIENCE IS NECESSARY!! Our new team members will be provided with on the job “ground up training” that includes glass handling and lifting techniques, power tools, product knowledge, and awareness, glass installation processes, troubleshooting measures, customer service, and more! After your initial training, new technicians are paired with a Lead Technician who will continue to help you grow and develop the skills needed to become a Glass Installation Technician through our skill-based pay program. Our Glass Installation Technicians take pride in their work and enjoy the positive work environment this position provides. If you are a person who: • Is Career minded and is teachable, approachable, and willing to learn • Has strong interpersonal and communications skills • Has a professional and positive attitude • Is dedicated and takes initiative • Has basic math skills with knowledge of fractions and can use/read a measuring tape • Has knowledge and experience with basic hand and power tools (preferred but not required) • Has experience working in Construction, Carpentry, Plumbing, Roofing, or the HVAC Industry • Has the ability to lift up to 85 lbs.
