looking for jazz project or hard rock band or both

Drums/Percussionist I need to find pro players, a jazz group would be a fun and rewarding left turn... also, looking for a hard rock /metal act thats not screamo bs...Are there any guitar players here that actually can do this anymore? would be interested in working cover band but not blues or country and if your band is playing purple rain at all, I would hope you have quality shows, not daiquiri shops etc..
