Kupuna and Caregiver Lo‘i Tour

Description

The day will be filled with thoughtful conversations, connections, culture and a tour of Ho‘okua‘āina loʻi. We ask that you bring a water bottle, hat, and sunscreen. The area that we will be walking on is made up of small rocks, grass, and mulch. We have had walkers, and wheel chairs come down the path, we just ask that kūpuna bring someone to help assist them if that is the case, otherwise our staff is happy to help. We will provide an area to sit and rest once we walk out to the loʻi. 9:15-9:25 am - Arrival 9:30 am - Circle time, introductions, mana’o o ka lā (thought of the day) 10:00-10:30 am - Walking tour in the lo’i 10:30-11:00 - Closing thoughts and reflections Contact Kaui Asing if you have any questions. 808.436.4147 [email protected].
