Description
I will apologize now for the somewhat lengthy post. My grandmother was Jennifer Hackney. She passed away in October 2005. She was very involved in the horse community and helped with many shows and horse related events. I am searching for horses that are descendants of any of hers that were given away or sold after she passed. I desperately wanted to keep one, but I was 16 and unable to care for a horse. I know this was 17 years ago so I wouldn't expect any of her Tennessee Walking horses to still be around (maybe a couple of the younger ones?), but would gladly purchase one of them or their offspring. I have recently purchased a small 4 acre farm property in Southern Oregon that I would be able to care for horses. I know this is a longshot but I do not remember the names of any of her friends. If anyone has any information that could help me find one of these horses, I would greatly appreciate it. It means a lot to me to care for an animal that she loved and held in such reverence. I can provide proof of who I am with information and/or pictures. Thank you for taking the time to read this post. If you knew my grandmother or her horses, please email me with a phone number and I will call ASAP.
