Description
Entry level worker on our weatherization crew. Experience working with Austin Energy programs starts you at a higher hourly but not required. The ideal candidate is reliable, dedicated, and ready to roll up their sleeves and work hard.
A typical day in the field will include:
Installing attic insulation and replacing HVAC air ducts.
Air duct repair: sealing, installation and replacing grills.
Installing smart thermostats.
Weatherstripping doors and caulking plumbing penetrations.
Candidates must have a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and pass a background check. English & Spanish speaking candidate a plus. This is a City of Austin Weatherization Assistance Program so work is steady.
