Who We Are Kern Behavioral Health & Recovery Services' Prevention Team would like to welcome you back for the 2022-2023 school year! The Prevention team uses education and community outreach to help our community make healthier choices about drugs and alcohol. What is Drug Free Youth Summit (DFYS) DFYS is an annual conference for youth and adult allies to learn about drug and alcohol use prevention, school-based activities that promote a drug-free environment, and plan for Red Ribbon Week. Participants are connected to prevention resources that are available throughout the school year. What We Offer We offer Friday Night Live (FNL) and Club Live (CL) chapter opportunities, educational presentations and curriculum centered around drug and alcohol prevention (and much more!). All schools that register as a FNL/CL by October 26th, will receive personalized T-shirts for club members at your school chapter!
