Bassist/multi-instrumentalist seeking jam sessions/creative collabs

Late 20s musician seeking others for casual jams and/or songwriting sessions. I'm primarily looking to improve my bass chops and to get back in the swing of playing with others. Been a musician most of my life including school band/choir, private lessons and bands with friends. All skill levels welcome, and I'm open to playing covers, just improvising, working on originals or doing a little of everything. My influences are quite broad, including old school funk, classic and neo-soul, pop-rock, metal, world, avant-garde, outsider music etc.. Friendly and chill, welcoming of people from all walks of life. I can host one or two people at my place or would be open to renting a practice room if necessary. My goal isn't to start a band right away but I wouldn't be opposed to playing out if that's where things are going. Would like to meet weekly or every other week.
