The Maintenance/Janitorial position with our company is one of the single most important positions in the company, he/she/they/them are responsible for the overall successful facilities operations of assigned store(s). The various tasks involved in operations includes the responsibility of compliance with legal requirements, company policies, Our team is looking to fill this position with a dependable and experienced commercial maintenance and janitorial professional. You will provide custodial services to various commercial properties, including but not limited to sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping floors; light electrical fixtures, shifting equipment as needed; window service, hood cleaning and even emptying trash bins. You should be comfortable cleaning bathrooms as well as other public spaces. Our ideal applicant is available to clean properties on nights and weekends and has experience using various types of cleaning supplies and tools. Expectations • Clean bathrooms and public areas • Vacuum and mop floors • Empty trash bins • Clean windows and mirrored surfaces • Dust shelves and other surfaces as needed • Maintain supply inventories • Perform monthly maintenance routine Commercial Maintenance and Janitorial Requirements and Qualifications • Hood Cleaning • Floor Polishing and waxing • Prior cleaning experience strongly preferred • Knowledge of cleaning equipment and supplies • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. • Flexibility to work weekends and nights as needed • Performs any other duties as assigned by Region Manager. Minimum Qualifications • Be 21 years of age. • Our team typically have to work their share of weekends, evenings, and holidays. (students must arrange work schedules that allow them to attend classes) • Possess excellent basic math skills and have the ability to operate a cash register or POS system. • Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time • Reading and writing proficiency Supervisor Responsibility This position does not currently supervise any other team members. Working Conditions We work really hard around here; you must work quickly and efficient to get the job done with exceptional ability to see the details and work beyond the standards. There is no time to lean or slack off, your peers are counting on you to do your part and you can expect to always be on your feet. Our peak times are weekends so if you are looking for an office job m-f this probably isn’t for you.
