ADVERTISEMENT FOR INVITATION FOR BID
Comfort Systems Construction is looking for Section 3 and M/WBE workers and subcontractors to bid on:
Marina Vista Surveillance Cameras 2022, for the installation of surveillance cameras at the Marina Vista Public Housing complex. 240 Seavey Circle, Sacramento, CA 95818.
Possible subcontracting trades are Concrete; Construction Clean-up; Earthwork & Paving; Electrical; Low Voltage Systems; and Pole Installation & Maintenance.
All subcontractors must be licensed and DIR registered and indicate that the wages to be paid by the subcontractors is Davis Bacon – Prevailing wage
Bids are due by August 29, 2022
Federal labor standards, California Labor Code including but not limited to Sections 1771, 1774, 1775, 1776, 1777.5, 1813 and 1815, compliance monitoring and enforcement by SHRA and the California Department of Industrial Relations (DIR), affirmative action requirements, Section 3 Requirements of the HUD Act of 1968, the Davis-Bacon Act, and Minority and Women Owned Business Enterprise standards.
This is a Public Works project. Per California State Labor Code Section 1771.1 (a), a contractor or subcontractor shall not be qualified to bid on, be listed in a bid proposal, subject to the requirements of Section 4104 of the Public Contract Code, or engage in the performance of any contract for public work, as defined in this chapter, unless currently registered and qualified to perform public work pursuant to Section 1725.5. Notwithstanding any other requirements (including federal labor requirements), this contract is subject to compliance monitoring and enforcement by the Department of Industrial Relations (DIR).
