The death tax would take the inheritance of surviving family members. Often times the surviving family members could not afford to pay the taxes or be able to afford the legal and court proceedings that the government would drag people through for years. Many lost the farm or the family business that was in the family for generations. You paid taxes "all your life" and played by the rules. Then somehow the government felt entitled to "your hard work and the risk" you took to achieve it. Now the new 87,000 IRS agents armed with weapons may come and seize it. Our government is broke long ago, they need your money now more than ever. Stealing for Americans.
