Tired of listening to metal that sings about decapitated bodies, eating babies and general negative message shit?
This is the angle: Heavy as Slipknot, Slayer, Maiden and old Metallica but with the uplifting lyrics of Marley. Everything is Gonna be Alright.
NOT Christian or any of that BS. Just heavy music with something better for our subconscious minds to absorb.
I'm a drummer and bass player. I can sing back ups and write songs. Just need folks who can up the level on quality of Lyrics. Still lyrics that can be dark, but have a better message for the soul of its listeners.
BTW I know the term "metal" has some baggage, so to be clear I am open to other genres that lay dow some infectious grooves.
Is this a ridiculous idea?
