THE PROBLEM: Three of the four doors unlock when the unlock button is pushed on the Key Fab (R/D, L/P, R/R, Left rear does not unlock). When the lock button is pushed on the Key Fab, none of the doors lock. The rear-lift-gate door neither locks or unlocks. The same 3 doors (R/D, L/P & R/R) unlock when using the inside (drivers side) arm-rest lock control button is pushed; but, none of the doors lock when the inside control button is pushed. THE SITUATION: I am an 80 year old retired gentleman (living in a HUD building) who had my Jeep blow up last year and I have had to borrow a neighbors car since (when ever I needed to go to the store, a doctor’s appointment or to church. A kind hearted family just gave me this Jeep and I would like to have the door lock problem fixed. The SOLUTION: Locate an auto electrician with knowledge and motivation to fix the problem.
