Primary Duties and Responsibilities I. Content Creation: Create and publish content across various social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn and Pinterest. Reflect the priorities of the church. Work with staff, contractors, and volunteers for graphic design, photography, video, copywriting, and related roles. Learn how to use Realm (Church Management Software),Free Conference Call, WebHR, and Website (www.tcorc-tn.wixsite.com/website) II. Community Interaction: Monitor posts, conversations, shares, likes, and all other ways that social media action occurs. Engage interactively with the community. Represent the church’s voice. Provide responses that connect people to ministry resources. III. Metrics and Reporting: Analyze traffic, track results, gauge success, and report findings. Shape content and strategy based on data. Other Responsibilities I. Team: Meet regularly with team members for alignment, communication, reporting, and fun. (Meet via Free-Conference-Call) II. Attend: Participate in weekend services every week. Engage in special events, classes, and other activities to develop a greater understanding of TCORC ministry options and to discover content sources. III. Internship: Communicate and fulfill school requirements Interaction with Others The Social Media Intern will interact frequently with a variety of staff, volunteers, and congregation members. The intern will report to the Sr. Pastor/Pastor of Communications and collaborate daily with department staff and volunteers. Desired Skills, Abilities, and Characteristics I. Beneficial spiritual gifts: creative communication, administration IV. Education and experience: Training in communications-related fields such as public relations, graphic design, copywriting, and photography. Demonstrated skill in social media as a marketing and communication toolset. At least one year of college. Time Requirement: 8 hours per week
