Noted artist Vian Borchert will be teaching an onsite watercolor painting art class this Fall at Glen Echo Park's Yellow Barn Studio. The class is on Monday mornings form 9:30AM till 12PM at The Yellow Barn Studio located at Glen Echo Park in Glen Echo, Maryland. Address: 7300 MacArthur Blvd Glen Echo, MD 20812 The class starts on Sept 19 and runs for 6 sessions till Nov 14. Learn the basics and more of watercolor painting from color theory, mixing colors to applying layers and glazes along with creative techniques to create beautiful effects in this fun translucent watercolor medium. Demos will be demonstrated by the instructor to help guide the students along this learning journey. Watercolor is the most fun of all painting mediums where you use water as the main player along with the watercolor paint tubes and pigments. Themes from landscapes to still life of fruits and vegetables will be covered. Come along on this painterly experience and learn the skills needed to create a watercolor painting.
