Brumfield Brothers BBB Home Repair LLC is an established Home Repair company that has been managing in the industry for over 35 years. We are looking to add some qualified people to our team. We are seeking part-time workers to join our team! We have a fun, laid back environment but work hard to get things done. We are looking for a self-starter who can work successfully with minimal supervision and one who can fit into our culture. This position would be approximately 20-25 hours/week with the opportunity to grow into a full-time role. Our employees participate in a small team that manages buildings, apartments and homes located in the Greater Rochester area. We do everything from simple tasks to building demo, repairs, renovate, and remodel and every step in between. We are also seeking for skills in a variety of fields: electrical, Landscaping, plumbing, framing, drywall, painting, flooring, and more. We’re looking for people that have some hands-on and experience in detail oriented and good communicators to add to our team. A typical day may include: ● Demolition, construction, repairs/maintenance ● Framing, drywall, painting, flooring ● Light Plumbing, Electrical & other skilled trades ● Concrete ● Painting ● Equipment maintenance ● Cleaning of buildings ● General labor ● Moving ● Ground maintenance (mowing, trimming, etc.) Some of the key things that we're looking for: ● Positive attitude ● Common sense ● Dependable and prompt ● Willingness and ability to do many different things, jack-of-all-trades type ● Detail oriented and take pride in your work ● Willingness to follow directions and take guidance - Never stop learning ● Basic hand tools Minimum of a High School diploma required. 1+ years of prior home repair experience preferred. And at least 1 years experience in any of the following: ● Framing (Wood & metal) ● Drywall ● Plumbing ● Electrical ● Painting ● Flooring ● Landscaping Responsibilities consist of but not limited to the following duties: ● Performs strenuous manual labor ● Experience with shovel and other hand tools ● Responsible for keeping sites clean and prepped. ● Responsible for cleaning tools and equipment ● Assists others with loading and unloading materials ● Signal operators to facilitate adjustment of machinery ● Assists crew with other duties, as needed. ● Strong work ethic ● Ability to handle physical workload ● Reliability and punctuality a must License/Certification: 1.
