Time Commitment: Sept/October: Saturdays 8:00 am - 3:30 pm; Sundays 9:00 am - 3:30 pm November: Saturdays & Sundays 9:00-2:30 December - March: Saturdays 9:00 am - 2:30 pm Market Duties include: Setting up market Assisting in market office including distributing EBT tokens, accepting tokens from farmers for redemptions, and recording redemptions Responding to all customer requests politely and promptly Coordinating merchandise tent and managing sales transactions Effectively manage electronic and cash sales keeping a sales report for each daily shift completed. Be knowledgeable about the market vendors and available to answer customer inquiries in a friendly and courteous manner. Other duties as assigned. Required Skills Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills Exhibited interest in local economies, food systems, farmers markets, and sustainable food production Ability to multitask Ability to learn new systems rapidly Enjoys high energy and fast-paced environment Strong time management skills Great positive can-do attitude and openness to feedback Please send resume and short email explaining your interest.
