WOBURN, MA — Early voting starts in Woburn on Aug. 27 for the upcoming state primary election. With that date approaching, the city recently shared its in-person early voting schedule. The schedule is as follows: Saturday, Aug. 27 — 8:00 am. to 1:00 p.m.Sunday, Aug. 28 — 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Monday, Aug. 29 — 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 30 — 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, Aug.31 — 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 1 — 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Friday, Sept. 2 — 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. In-person early voting will take place at the Old Wyman School at 697 Main Street. Voters also have the option to vote by mail, so long as they request their ballot before Aug. 29 at 5 p.m. Voters have until Aug. 27 at 5 p.m. to register to vote or change their party affiliation. Woburn residents can register to vote, update addresses, check registration status and more through the state's online voter registration system. Polls will be open on primary election day, Sept. 6, from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. The state election is then set for Nov. 8 with a voter registration deadline of Oct. 29.
