Dog seen in Val Verde - small, white with brown spots

Was driving through and saw a small white dog with light brown spots on its back (male). Was very friendly and just roaming around in the middle of the street. Had a collar but no tag. We tried giving it water but it didn't seem to want it. Loved the scratches though! We were worried because he was in the street, but didn't seem scared so we didn't want to take him or anything. Hope this helps someone find their dog. Location was San Martinez Rd at Verdale Ave going east on San Martinez Rd. Val Verde, CA
