Range Hood Installation Fix - HVAC + Construction

We had a 1200 CFM range hood installed improperly and it needs to be fixed. Currently, some exhaust flows out, but mostly gets backed up in the kitchen and then starts to spread rapidly into the house. Most likely the ducting isn’t big enough, but it’s hard to tell. The duct runs through a wooden soffit that looks like a beam which may or may not need to be removed. The exhaust is also most likely not big enough. Looking for a skilled tradesman who can help get this up and running properly. Will pay hourly + parts for work. Please send your rates and contact information if you’re interested in this job.
