Cal Poly First Year Student Help With Car

Hey everyone, my name is Tayler and I am from Encinitas but moving to San Luis Obispo to go to Cal poly in the fall. Over the summer I was able to finally get a car after not having one all four years at LCC which now has made my challenges as and independent person easier. That being said, I am not able to keep my car in Encinitas as I won’t have a spot at my house. As a first year student at cal poly, students who want to bring their car are typically prohibited unless that have a job/medical reason and receive a parking exemption- while I will be working at cal poly, I do not have the money or support to afford a parking spot my first year because it is nearly 800$ for <9 months. I am looking for someone who has a parking spot, a friend, family member, anyone who lives in SLO would be willing to let me park my car at their house for my 1st year. I will be able to afford paying 30-50$ a month, and can even work for my spot if needed. If possible I would love to be able to bring my surfboard and leave it there as well, but if that is a dealbreaker, than no worries! I am moving in September 10th and reaching out now because it is really important to me that I find somebody because I do not want to sell my car that I just got 5 months ago and I also need it to work, drive back down to San Diego, etc.. if anyone would be willing to offer this, please send me a message via nextdoor or feel free to call or text me @ .
