The Installers are assigned to assemble equipment or fixtures in the clients work or home area. They should have extensive knowledge of the product that they will be installing to ensure it works as intended. The Installers should be familiar with handling different tools, especially those that would help them remodel bathrooms. Wage $15 - $40 an hour Qualifications Driver's License (Required) US work authorization (Required) Construction Experience: 2 years minimum (Required) High school or equivalent (Preferred) Job Description We are a general contracting bathroom remodeling company established in San Diego County. We only focus on bathroom remodeling. We are a 50 plus year family-owned business looking for an individual to become part of our family. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to expand their knowledge and grow within our company. We are looking for a competent Construction Worker to work on our bathroom remodeling projects. You will be helping with tile installation, cabinet installation, flooring installation, plumbing, demolition, drywall, paint electrical, etc.. You must have physical strength, endurance and work well with your hands. Following instructions while following safety rules at all times is a must. We do not use sub-contractors so are looking for skilled individuals that can remodel the bathroom completely. Responsibilities Assist and manage the whole bathroom construction projects Unload and carry materials at job sites Tile installation, Plumbing, Carpentry, Floor installation, etc… Prepare and apply construction materials and finish materials Smooth and level new concrete or other materials Ensure warehouse and job site are cleaned up after every visit Working with passion and willing to grow Complete bathroom tear-outs and remodel per company’s instructions Maintain a pleasant and professional attitude when dealing with customers Always wear uniform on the job, observing rules of good grooming and hygiene Adhere to all installation standards and procedures while doing installations and providing services Inform customers about the functionality, care and upkeep of their new installations Accurately complete and submit all necessary paperwork, and photos plus communication regarding projects assigned Possess the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals TRAVEL Installers will drive out to clients work or home area, $20 a day added if using your own vehicle. Skills · Broad range of proven experience in the following: demolition, framing, cabinet installation, trims and molding, installation of hardware and fixtures, installation of windows, ect · Hands-on construction experience and skills necessary to produce remodeling projects according to plan, on time, and on budget · Ability to work as a team · Possess the ability to read and interpret English documents in such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals · Great Communication Skills · Great Time Management and Positive Attitude · Excellent balance and eye-hand coordination Summary of the Job: The Installers are assigned to assemble equipment or fixtures in the clients work or home area. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS · Ability to sit/stand for long periods of time. · Visual acuity to read documents and utilize programs on a computer screen. · Ability to hear in order to communicate in person and on the phone. · Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, push, pull and/or reach to install and break down equipment · Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. on a regular basis. · Regular work environment is a climate-controlled office. · Regular work environment is a home office, climate-controlled client site, or non-climate-controlled client site. · Regular work environment may be a climate-controlled office/client site, non-climate-controlled client site, or outdoors with no climate controls.
