The Art Can Heal Program at Sutter Auburn Faith Hospital is running an open call to local and regional artists and photographers for end of 2022, & all of 2023 & 2024 Works must meet the parameters of the program, providing positive, uplifting work to enhance the healing environment for patients, their families, and hospital staff. We are also looking for children’s work for the Children’s Gallery. Shows run 3 months. Only 2-D work can be displayed at this time. Pieces can be no larger than 36” in any dimension, including framing, due to fire code restrictions. State mandated COVID 91 protocols are in effect, and may change at any time. Artists are considered vendors and will be require to follow the protocols: COVID PROTOCOLS: TO BE ADMITTED AS A VENDOR TO THE HOSPITAL, YOU WILL EITHER HAVE TO PROVIDE PROOF OF COVID VACCINE, OR HAVE RESULTS OF A NEGATIVE COVID TEST TAKEN WITHIN 72 HOURS PRIOR. AT HOME TESTS ARE ACCEPTABLE. YOU CAN PURCHASE A SET OF 2 FOR ABOUT $25 AT WALGREENS, CVS, OR ON AMAZON. YOU WILL ALSO BE REQUIRED TO WEAR A FACE MASK PROVIDED BY THE HOSPITAL.
