I was a homeschooling mom and I am a homeschooling grandmother who has taken care of children for twenty-seven years. I have excellent references from the families I have served through the years. I have no criminal history and have served in the Army as a medic, in the fire service as a fire fighter/ dispatcher and in law enforcement as a patrol, DARE and School Resource Officer. I have a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice. I provide a loving, clean, safe home environment for your child. Children typically start with me when they are babies and leave when they go to kindergarten though some have remained for homeschooling. I maintain an immaculate home and we have a large backyard with playground equipment. I maintain a schedule throughout the day but I am very flexible. I would rather a child feel as if they are at home with me and get lots of snuggles and play but we also do daily activities during the school year. I am very grateful that my children have had so few incidence of strep, cold or stomach viruses through the years and no Covid at all over the passed two years. No incidences of rsv, foot and mouth disease, whooping cough, rotovirus or lice, and other illnesses usually passed around at daycare. I only sit for a few children at a time. I am also very proud to say that they all begin school performing at or above grade level including reading and math skills.
