​ $​30/HR—To Help Declutter/Renovate/Stage Stately Chevy Chase Stonehouse. Hello All, We’re a friendly Chevy Chase, Maryland couple who own a stately three-story all stone colonial so solid an appraiser dubbed it a “bomb shelter.” We cherish the 91-year-old house but wish to make it still more wonderful with a minor kitchen remodel, a small-scale addition and other upgrades. Importantly, we also wish to fully declutter the basement and two-car garage to maximize storage. Given our rather full schedules (we’re a doctor and journalist) we’d love to find a highly organized person who could assist us to plan and carry out our renovation. This would involve helping strategize the work, identify contractors, obtain estimates and so forth. Ideally the person we’re looking for would be someone who thrives on home restoration. This could be a realtor, a stager, a handyman, a builder, a contractor, a professional organizer or a homeowner who’s gone through a fulfilling renovation of your own and enjoyed the process. Alternatively, perhaps you know someone else perfect for this work. If so, we’d be happy to compensate you for a referral. In terms of the work, we are paying $30 per hour and offer flexible scheduling for a limited number of hours weekly. Our place is conveniently located right off Wisconsin Avenue near downtown Bethesda. We have ample free parking in our long driveway or on the street.
