General yard work using our equipment. Includes mowing, weedeating, trimming of bushes and other vegetation, removal of limbs, etc. First task will be taming a large garden gone wild and the area immediately outside of it. Maintenance of all yard equipment used is an important part of this job; all equipment and tools must be kept in good working order. Chainsaw experience is a plus; this includes knowledge of safety precautions and maintenance, incl. sharpening and replacement of the chain. Experience working on acreage and awareness of potential wildlife therein also a plus; this is not a postage-stamp-size yard in a development. This gig has the potential to be long-term. Am located near the UNT campus /I-35W-I-35E split. Am flexible on days and hours, within reason, e.g., grass must be mowed before it gets out of control. Many students have had this gig through the years; one worked through both his bachelor's and master's degrees. The job is not limited to students, however. Compensation is $20/hr.
