Landscaper/Irrigation Tech As an Irrigation Tech employed at Alff Construction, you will work on and troubleshoot commercial irrigation systems. You will collaborate with other professionals on a wide range of projects focused primarily on commercial property. You must be creative and resourceful to fulfill customer needs and be highly skilled in presenting proposed plans. Responsibilities Include: Overall understanding of commercial irrigation Test systems for potential issues Sprinkler valve repair Winterization of each system Landscape areas as needed Required Skills/Abilities: Ability to troubleshoot commercial irrigation systems Proficient in drip systems for both turf and rock/mulch beds Proficient in backflow repair and troubleshooting Ability to repair both main and lateral breaks Understanding of Master Valves, quick connects, drain valves, and flow sensors Understanding of stop and wastes to backflows Ability to rewire controllers, solenoids, clocks, and node controllers. Familiar with RainBird and WeatherTRAK irrigation systems and controllers Education and Experience: High School Diploma 4+ years of experience in a similar role Schedule: Varies Benefits: Full-Time employees are eligible for Health, Dental, Vision, Long Term/Short Term Disability, Life/Voluntary Life Insurance, and 401K.
