Independent Oil & Gas Company located in Fort Lupton has an immediate opening for a EXPERIENCED Diesel Mechanic. Full-time position with weekends a possibility. APPLY IN PERSON!! Duties and Responsibilities: • Routine servicing and overhauling of all diesel engines • Inspecting the engines and detecting malfunctions • Replacing engine parts and appropriately assembling the same • Maintaining records of servicing and engine repairs • Checking electrical systems and transmission parts and ensuring the smooth functions of the same • Following all stipulated industry safety regulations and standards of working • Ensuring the proper handling of all testing and repair tools • Maintaining inventory of spare parts and placing necessary orders Knowledge, Skill and Ability: • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Knowledge of hydraulic systems and air systems • Ability to follow work procedures to achieve a high level of quality and productivity • Ability to dedicate the required time and energy to assignments ensuring the efficient completion of them • Ability to work independently, plan work, establish priorities and make decisions • Ability to adjust to multiple demands and shifting priorities • Ability to act as a team player and assist colleagues when necessary Education and Experience: • High School or GED Required • 5+ years’ experience, including some oilfield experience • Must have own tools • Clean MVR required, CDL preferred, but not required • Must pass drug screen and background check Working Environment/Physical Activities: • Some outside work in all weather conditions • Able to make service calls in the field • Ability to lift 10-50 LB frequently and 50-100 LB occasionally • Capable of performing other physical demands [Range of Motion] such as: bending, balancing, crouching, kneeling, pushing, pulling, reaching, twisting, lifting, and crawling APPLY IN PERSON AT 10137 WELD COUNTY RD 19 FT.
