Join us for our fall social to fellowship and learn more about Partners for Better Housing and the efforts being made to support families who seek to attain homeownership in Northwest Arkansas. For families with limited savings, no assets, and stable employment, financial assistance is required to purchase a home, but that isn't the only support that families need. Families striving to become homeowners benefit from pre-purchase preparation before they are Ready to Own a home and post-purchase support.
The event introduces how Partners facilitates opportunities and resources to support modest to moderate income families. We will share ways to get involved in our initiative to help families who are Ready to Own a home. Reduce the wealth gap and assist families taking steps toward homeownership.
“It is hard to argue that housing is not a fundamental human need. Decent, affordable housing should be a basic right for everybody in this country. The reason is simple: without stable shelter, everything else falls apart." ― Matthew Desmond, Evicted: Poverty and Profit in the American City
